She is one of the popular On-Air presenters in Lagos but
Tolu Oniru is simply called Toolz, which has been her alias from school.
This curvy and sexy journalist is one of the well-known
presenters on Beat 99.9 FM Radio Station. And she presents a popular programme
on that music station.
Tolu a.k.a ‘Toolz’ was born and pretty much bred in the UK,
but was lucky enough to have spent a few very impactful years in Lagos where
she finished off primary school.
Although she’s spent the last 12 years in London, Toolz
claims to be as Naija as the Boli and Epa(roasted plantain & peanuts) lady
on your street!
Before joining Beat FM, Toolz worked at MTV in London for a
few years where she learnt how to work hard and play even harder!
Her interest in broadcasting grew even more during her role
at a radio station in London. She was working behind the scenes, but would constantly
daydream of being in front of the mic.
Toolz decided to move back to Lagos in 2009, and is enjoying
her new journey of rediscovering this crazy but fun city.
However, in the case at hand, this particular sexy OAP seems
to be finding right men for marriage elusive.
According to sources that are very close to Toolz,her
parents are not in good mood due to their daughter’s status in the
entertainment industry.
The reason is based on the fact that the charming presenter
is yet to find a right man to get married to.
It was learnt that her parents called her to a very private
meeting and told her to decide who she will get married to any moment from now.
Although the talented OAP has been in some couple of
relationships, she is yet to make up her mind on who to tie the knot with.
Toolz, as she is fondly called by fans, has been labeled a
senior spinster. This is on account of her refusal to get married despite being
romantically linked with several guys within and outside entertainment
industry.
The family was concerned that the concept of success should
be all encompassing and not limited to money and stardom which are temporal.
On the side of well meaning friends, the ground for pressure is that as a woman a little bit above thirty that her biological clock is ticking.
