Its just like my best day today when i got the news that Lagos State government today finally gave actress Ngosi Nwosu N4.5million to help with the treatment It has been a long campaign to help save her life on social media,papers,journal and the likes.The actress has been battling with a kidney and heart-related ailment for a while now and needed N6million for treatment abroad.Thanks to Governor Babatunde Fashola.

Gov Wada rejects option to get him treatment abroad

Contrary to insinuations, Governor Idris Wada of Kogi State may not be flown abroad for the treatment of the injuries he sustained in the accident involving his convoy on  Friday.Doctors at the hospital where the governor was receiving treatment hinted, yesterday, that Wada rejected the option of flying him abroad for further treatment after undergoing what was described as inter-locking nail surgery on his thigh broken in the crash.The surgery, which lasted two hours, was said to have been successful.

Firefighters are battling to save the palatial mansion.The hilltop palatial residence of former President Olusegun Obasanjo is currently on fire.The house is located in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
Men of the fire service arrived the scene and are currently putting out the fire.
Located along the Ibrahim Babangida Boulevard in Abeokuta, the multi-millionaire villa made up of about six structures was completely shortly before Mr. Obasanjo left office in 2007.

SSS Nabs Ngozi Okonjo Iweala’s Mum's Abductors In Bank

At least,A big kudos should be given to the security operatives that handled this case,but at least the same preference/procedure should be used when anyone is help by abductors not minding their political status or significance. It was a big news yesterday as the Operatives of the State Security Service (SSS) have arrested six of the abductors of Prof. Keneme Okonjo, mother of the Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo- Iweala. Prof. Chukwuka Okonjo was kidnapped on December 9, 2012 at the palace of the traditional ruler.

The victim was released on December 14. But in a bid to unravel those behind the kidnapping, arrests were made by the police, Army and men of the SSS.
