 Rising hip hop act, Olaniyan Damilola, popular known as Damino Damoche, was shot dead this afternoon at Lagos State University Ojo gate by people suspected to be cultist.
Damoshe was shot twice in the head and hand after he finished writing a test at faculty of management science. He was a Banking and Finance student at LASU. He was popular for his song - obo to she.

Today 25th February 2012, pop singer Goldie Susan Harvey was laid to rest.
The private burial took place at Vaults and Gardens cemetery in Ikoyi.
Goldie died on Thursday February 14th of Hypertensive heart disease after returning from the Grammy awards in the US.
May Almighty God rest her soul and grant her family the fortitude to bear the loss, Amen.

What President Goodluck Jonathan did as the Governor of Bayelsa is coming back to haunt him - 7 years later! Bayelsa state was one of the major sponsors of the Thisday Music Festival which held in 2006 and featured Beyonce and Jay Z. According to new reports, President Jonathan as the governor of the state then spent $1million on the music festival.  
SaharaReports reported it four days ago (Read it HERE) that the money spent on the festival was from The Bayelsa State Poverty Alleviation fund. Hmmmm. Well, now the report has gone international. UK Daily Mail quoted Sahara Reporters in their report.

I will say I am all but biased when it comes to expressing my opinion on Beyonce. I think Blue Ivy is super cute but why the drama and baited breath over Blue Ivy being showcased to the world. Beyonce you had a baby it’s a beautiful wonder to share with the world so why wait a year and do it a documentary…for maximum attention and impact I guess! I just hope that baby doesn’t become a cash cow. Beyonce is notorious at hiding Baby Blue from the world…which is why I ask why now?

Chris Brown Involved In An Accident, Blames Paparazzi For The Crash

             
It seems this year is going to be a TOUGH one for singer-Chris Brown. Few days ago, he was involved in a highly publicized fisticuffs with Frank Ocean which led to accusations of probation violation. Now, Chris Brown has been involved in a crash that totaled the car seen above-the car he was driving. And guess who is to be blamed? The Paparazzi of course-according to Chris Brown’s rep…

 Chris Brown‘s car was totaled this afternoon after an alleged run-in with a pair of paparazzi, this according to the singer’s rep. A rep for Brown tells TMZ he was driving in his car — on his way to a charity event — when he was cut off by two vehicles. The rep claims “the occupants jumped out, with cameras, and aggressively approached his vehicle. In an effort to remove himself from the situation, he began to back down an alley at which point his was cut off by two additional vehicles.” The rep continued, “Chris’ vehicle was totaled due to this agressive pursuit by the paparazzi. He is okay.” Brown’s car can be seen in the photo above, after it had been taken to the tow yard. 6:10 PM PT – A spokesman for the Beverly Hills Police department released a statement saying, “On February 9, 2013 at approximately 1203pm, entertainer Chris Brown was involved in a solo, non-injury traffic collision in the 600 Block Bedford Drive/Camden Drive alley. Mr. Brown was the driver of the vehicle and collided with a wall. Brown stated that he was being chased by paparazzi causing him to lose control of his vehicle. Brown’s Black Porsche was towed from the scene at his request.”

My attention has been drawn to reports in the media that I have resigned my appointment as the Head Coach of Super Eagles of Nigeria.

While I have had cause to express my displeasure over some issues that happened in the course of our participation in the AFCON 2013, which my team won by the grace of God, especially concerning my relationship with the Nigerian Football Federation, I have since had opportunity to discuss the various issues with all concerned. I am therefore pleased to say that I have reconsidered my position and have decided to continue with my job.

I want to thank the Honourable Minister of Sports, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, for his swift and kind intervention.

Lil Wayne in big mess as fan sues him over a ‘Violent’ Skateboard Attack

A lil Wayne fan-Alfredo Marino who claims one of Lil Wayne’s employees threw a skateboards which landed on his head back in May, 2012 is suing the rapper for compensation.
According to Alfredo Marino’s lawsuit, he spotted Weezy on the streets of L.A. last year and tried to take a photo but a man who works for Lil Wayne grabbed a skateboard and clubbed him in the back of the head.
The suit which is filed in L.A. County Superior Court by his attorney Craig Chisvin, claims Alfredo Marino suffered a severe injury to his melon from the incident and he thinks Lil Wayne and his people (record label) are responsible for the attack he received form their employee.

Colombian superstar Shakira has shown off her two-week-old baby boy for the first time in a sweet new photograph.

The ‘Hips Don't Lie’ hitmaker and her soccer ace boyfriend Gerard Pique welcomed little Milan in Spain on January 22, and now they have debuted the newborn in a tender snapshot, which can be viewed on their United Nations Children's Fund website, where the couple collected donations in lieu of gifts.

A statement from the parents reads, "We hope that, in his name, other less privileged children in the world can have their basic needs covered through gifts and donations. Thank you for sharing this unforgettable moment with us."

Beyonce has opened up about her heartbreaking miscarriage for the first time, it was revealed on Thursday.
The 31-year-old, who is married to rapper Jay-Z, addresses the tragedy in her upcoming HBO documentary, Life Is But a Dream.
She suffered the loss several years before the birth of her daughter Blue Ivy in January 2012.
‘About two years ago, I was pregnant for the first time,’ she says in a preview.
‘And I heard the heartbeat, which was the most beautiful music I ever heard in my life.’
‘I picked out names,’ she recalls.
‘I envisioned what my child would look like.. I was feeling very maternal.’
She lost the child in the early stages of her pregnancy.
