Meet Abby and Brittany - 23-year-old conjoined

          

Abby and Brittany Hensel are conjoined twins determined to live the normal, active life of outgoing 20-somethings anywhere. They have been to university, they travel, they have jobs. But how easy is it for two people to inhabit one body?

Like most 23-year-olds Abby and Brittany Hensel love spending time with their friends, going on holiday, driving, playing sport such as volleyball and living life to the full.
The identical, conjoined twins from Minnesota, in the United States, have graduated from Bethel University and are setting out on their career as primary school teachers with an emphasis on maths.
Although they have two teaching licences, there is one practical difference when it comes to the finances.
"Obviously right away we understand that we are going to get one salary because we're doing the job of one person," says Abby.
"As maybe experience comes in we'd like to negotiate a little bit, considering we have two degrees and because we are able to give two different perspectives or teach in two different ways."

"One can be teaching and one can be monitoring and answering questions," says Brittany. "So in that sense we can do more than one person."

Their friend Cari Jo Hohncke has always admired the sisters' teamwork.
"They are two different girls, but yet they are able to work together to do the basic functions that I do every day that I take for granted," says Hohncke.

Swedish Police Find Drugs & A Stun Gun On Justin Bieber’s Tour Bus

                

Justin Bieber must be brought under check…His growing up seems to be fetching him a lot of problems with the law.

Swedish police have found drugs on pop sensation Justin Bieber’s tour bus.

Police spokesman Lars Bystrom revealed a small amount of drugs and a stun gun were found when officers raided the bus parked under the Globen concert venue in Stockholm, where Bieber was performing on Wednesday.

They have refused to reveal identify which drugs were discovered on the blacked out bus – but said officers ordered the search after they ‘smelt cannabis’ coming from the vehicle earlier that evening.

The long divorce drama between the Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries has ended. While Kris tried to get at least $7 million from Kim during the drama, the two came to some sort of agreement yesterday. As a result…

– Kris gets NO money from Kim.
– Kris dropped his demand for an annulment based on fraud.
– Each party will pay their own attorney’s fees.

The only persons who are getting some money are the Attorneys in this case. And is that not a waste of money?
According to reports, they have already spent somewhere around $300,000 each in attorney fees by dragging the divorce out.
Radar Online reports that all Kris ever wanted was for Kim to apologize and if she would have done that in the first place, he would’ve dropped it a long time ago.

People Always Misunderstand Me – Jim Iyke

In a recent interview with Vanguard, Jim got to defend himself when he was asked why he seemed like such a rebel.

• In  your opinion, would you say, you have been misunderstood over the years?

JIM IYKE:

I have always been misunderstood. Many times when things happen, I hardly come out to state my own side of the story. This is because I hate to join issues with anybody. Nobody likes to be intensively scrutinised. I think that’s what made me to rebel to some extent. I’ve seen people who do not live a normal life, yet they are first to point accusing fingers at others.

The press didn’t help matters in my case. Who is paying the price? They forget that I have a family which I’m answerable to. It’s my parents who get hurt whenever wrong things are written about me. People who are dear to me probably do not find what they are doing very funny.  

Unscripted has given me an avenue to revisit every issue that has been an issue in my life.  

In such little thing as business, people do business and end up in court because of disagreement.And while it’s easy to point accusing fingers at me and call me names because I’m in the limelight and of course, pointing accusing fingers at me will make news.  

People forget that I’m a normal human being that is going through the normal issues in terms of business transactions. I can’t come out to claim that some people tried to defraud me because nobody knows them.  

At the end of the day, it takes the strongest of character to survive all the ordeals. And while I’ve survived it, it has made me stronger and wiser. Yes, I don’t shy away from life experiences and I’m not ashamed of them. They don’t embarrass me because I’ve embraced them. They inform me, they order my steps, they strengthen my conviction and tell me the direction to follow. And that I think more than anything else re-enforces my philosophy.

 This week, Beyonce took over the stage for the first stop of her “Mrs. Carter Show World Tour” in Serbia, and her jaw-dropping outfit got people talking… What we did not know is how much work went into nipples protruding dress which Beyonce rocked. According to The Blonds who collaborated on the suit, the making of one-piece took over 600 hours and 30,000 Swarovski crystals…  

They told Fashionista:

 We proposed several different options and this was the one that won. Beyonce exudes confidence, glamour and sensuality, so, we created something that would express all of those things in every way. Our original inspiration came from Tamara de Lempicka’s paintings of the female body. To start, Phillipe hand painted the suit on Beyonce to achieve the correct shading. The piece was then hand embroidered with approximately 30,000 Swarovski crystals that took over 600 hours to apply. It was a close collaboration with Beyonce, Tina Knowles and her stylist, Ty Hunter, to finish what would become one of the most glamorous and provocative looks she’s ever worn. It is also meant to give the illusion of being covered in crystallized honey. It’s a couture look that would not only be stunning, but, also reflect her personality and the music from this segment of the Mrs. Carter Tour. They again added… She’s the ultimate performer and it’s electrifying to experience her live in concert because she connects with the audience in a way that’s pure. Like a mix of Diana Ross’s glamour and Tina Turner’s passion.

2 Explosions At Boston Marathon generates mixed reactions

Two explosions at the finish line of the Boston Marathon race have left an unknown number of people injured.Video and photographs from Boston show a scene of confusion, with emergency services descending on the scene and bloodied spectators being taken to a medical tent."There are a lot of people down," said one runner quoted by AP news agency. The incident reportedly came about three hours after the winners crossed the line.

AP said there was a loud explosion on the north side of Boylston Street, just before the bridge that marks the finish line. Another loud explosion could be heard a few seconds later.Stragglers heading for the finish line were rerouted away from the smoking site of the blasts.

The Eastern Massachusetts branch of the Red Cross has set up a disaster response centre in the area.

Reports say that, Kim Kardashian plans to give birth to her baby in Paris because of France’s strict paparazzi laws, which would stop snappers swarming to get a shot of the newborn

The blogs are awash with claims the reality TV star and rapper boyfriend Kanye West are looking to move there for the delivery.

Pregnant Kim, who is due to give birth in July, was in Las Vegas last night to launch her new perfume and meet fans, and she was not looking that bad compared to her recent public appearances .

She rocked a bright red maternity dress, matching lipstick and high heels to unveil her new scent, called GLAM.

The 32-year-old seemed excited about the visit, writing on her blog hours before: “’Hey dolls, I cannot believe I finally get to hang out with you guys tomorrow! I am beyond pumped to see your gorgeous faces.

“We have so much to catch up on and I am dying to share my new GLAM fragrance with you! It is so perf for Spring, it’s a must in my book! See you there!”

"I Miss D'Banj" - Don Jazzy

 The split between two former co-label owners of Mohits Records; D'Banj and Don Jazzy, will be a year old in few weeks time. It is still surprising that they went their separare ways. Both parties have floated their own music labels: Mavin Records and DB Records and have moved on with their lives. At the AY Show held few nights ago in Lagos, while answering questions on the red carpet, Don Jazzy confessed that he missed D'Banj. "D'Banj is doing well wherever he is. You're putting words in my mouth; yes, but of course, I miss him."
